Having
always visited Crufts each year, taking time off school and getting
into trouble for it, Rough Collies were always the apple of my eye
even though I was brought up with Shelties.
The
Mandane & Brettonpark lines appealed to me greatly and my first
show dog Rahlissa Uptown Girl was a Mandane daughter, she got her
JW so I was thoroughly hooked. I obtained another Mandane bred bitch
from the Seaband kennels, she did not excel in the ring but did
in the whelping box being the dam of Collingvale Corn Dolly JW and
Collingvale BlackButton JW one the best show girl one could wish
for, her daughter Collingvale Black Currant JW 2RCC a total star
and my first Champion even though she never won a CC.

Currants g.g.g granddaughter C. Black A Holic JW did extremely well
for me as a youngster producing C. Black Lashes who has her Stud
Book Number, although not totally at home in the show ring she produced
the lovely C. Sweetcorn with Pellismer JW sired by Gerian Sunset
. I obtained her daughter the lovely Pellismer Popcorn with Collingvale
JW she has been Best Puppy and BIS at club open shows always showing
and doing her best for me

During
this time I purchased a bitch from Gerian she became Ch Gerian Sunflower
at Collingvale JW 3RCCs we had loads of fun in the ring and she had
many admirers home and abroad. Her daughter the lovely C. Cornflake
2CC 3 RCC winning one RCC at Crufts.

new challenge for 2007 will be showing Fay, a daughter of Ruscombe
Rhapsody this is her at 9 months
