THE BEGINNING.

The ‘Sanclearo’ Affix/Kennel Name created in 2006, followed a debut year in the show ring, which was the natural path for someone who has lived with rough collies as pets for over thirty years.’

In addition, Sanclearo was an ideal choice of name, for it harks back to early versions of our surname. At first, I intended to show our family dog in companion shows alone, just as a bit of fun, but now the hobby has eclipsed my previous interests, and allowed me to use my love of rough collies, within a dedicated pastime.

Thanks to Andre and Chantal Scott, this lovely sweet dog came to us late in 2005 with the sole view of being a family pet. This son of Amalie Mild Affair (2CC’s/6RCC’s) and Chantique Loopyloo, and grandson of Champion Gerian Sundance and Champion Delbar Delightfully Amalie, began to improve to such an extent during the summer of 2006 that we felt compelled to take our chance in the show ring.
Therefore, at 11 months’ of age, he made his ring debut, and over a 10-week period achieved places in every class entered, which included four Championship Shows and three Open Shows; this also included five class wins, two Best Puppy, two Puppy Group 2 awards, and one Championship win in Yearling dog.

Sire: Samhaven Toastmarster
Dam: Sachenda Showbiz.

Sachenda Showdance [Darcy]

"Thanks to Sam Bedford, this lovely sweet boy came to us early in 2007. Beautifully bred, both through his Samhaven sire, and on the dam's side, which features Champion's Carostar C'est La Vie and Sandiacre Sacre Bleu.

We are hoping this confident character, named after the Jane Austin character Mr Darcy, can enjoy both his home life and please the eye when he is in the show ring,
