My
interest in Collies started as a child when my brother returned home
with a one year old sable and white dog, sired by Champion Mywicks Model
Examiner out of Affinity of Cressbrook. My brother had shown him with
some success. "Shep" was a super dog and accompanied me wherever
I went. He became the family pet and I showed him locally at the agricultural
shows around the year of 1966.
In
1974 I owned my own Collie and a short while later I bought another
sable and white bitch who was sired by Champion Fellview Monarch, out
of Heysompark Black Beauty, a daughter of Champion Laund Lucigard. I
bred my first litter of Collies in 1976, they were sired by Laund Latimer
and so the story goes on.....
In
1992 I was fortunate enough to acquire a lovely blue merle dog who at
his first show with me went BIS at the Lancs & Cheshire Collie Club.
He gained several other BIS, and also gained three Reserve CC's but
he never gained his crown which he deserved.

I
still have a grandson of "Scorch" a tri colour by Chrisarion
Collier. He is a super dog and hopefully I shall have a litter by him
later in the year.
My
latest show winning Collie is a sable and white bitch, Londer Lolita,
sired by the important dog Dan. & Braz Ch Lakefield Love is in the
Air out of Brooklynson Jayne Fonda. Lita is wonderful and is probably
the best Collie that I have bred. She is a lovely classic Collie and
I am so proud to have the privileg of owning and breeding her.

In
2001 I bought 2 sable and white Smooth Collies from the Foxearth Kennels
of Trevor and Birgit Hayward, to whom I am grateful for letting me have
some of their best stock. Foxearth Fondant quickly gained her title,
she has 5 CC's, two of which were won at the British Collie Club and
she has 4RCC's to her credit. Fondant is a classic, elegant, smooth
collie as the photo's reflect.

Future Magic has 5RCC's to her credit and has produced a Champion
in her first litter to Ch Foxearth Sandy Footprints and a repeat of
the mating has produced a RCC winner at his first show in Londer Look
Smart, also his litter brother, Foxearth Loder Lladro, owned by Trevor
& Birgit has a couple of Best Puppies under his belt, plus 1 RCC.
