In this section we would like to introduce you to Collies that are bread by ourselves but in the ownership of others. We cant keep everything so we think its nice that others can have some fun with a Ladnar Collie. If you would like to be included in this section and share your successes then please email me with a photo and a list of your achievements.

Pat writes:
Competing against mainly Border Collies and Working Sheepdogs in Obedience Competitions in the UK, Tanni has turned many heads not only for her good looks but for her working ability. At her very first show in 2007 she was placed 2nd in the Novice class and was regularly placed throughout the year winning her first Novice at Thames DTC in September. In 2008 at just over two years old she won her second Novice Competition against an entry of 59 bitches to qualify her for her ‘Novice Excellent’ title and progress into Obedience Test ‘A’ where she gained a 5th place at her first attempt. Settling into the class, where no commands are permitted, Tanni continued to be regularly placed in the top 6 and in August won her first Test ‘A’ against an entry of 51 bitches at Lichfield DTC Open show and at the end of the year was also placed 6th in Test ‘B’ at Plymouth DTC show. Alongside her Obedience career Tanni has been very lightly shown and in August she was Best of Breed at St. Mellons Agricultural Open Show. On her birthday in November 2008 she took a day long Character Assessment Test, organized by the Rough and Smooth Collie Training Association and was given top honours, being graded as ‘Excellent’. Tanni is
a joy to live with but also has
an amazing desire to work and please, demonstrating how this glamorous
breed can still call upon it’s working origins, given the chance. So far in 2009 Tanni has been regularly placed at open and championship shows in TEST 'A', On the 12th July Tanni won her class after a run off for first place. This
gave her the Title Obedience Test 'A' Excellent. On the 9th August Tanni
once again had a run off for first place but unfourntaly came 2nd on
this occasion.! |

Memorabilla (Poppy) Michelle
introduced herself to Dave & myself at Blackpool Championship
show in 2005 after falling head over heels in love with the very handsome
Jack (L/Bitter Sweet 2CC) After several phone conversations and meeting
up at shows we invited Michelle and her family over for the day to
meet the Ladnar Collies. Well as you can guess Michelle fell in love
with every one of them so much so I had to check the boot of the car
before they left!!! In April 2008 Michelle acquired a puppy from us
by the name of Ladnar Kitty Foyle a daughter of Ladnar Special Bond
x Ladnar Ginger Rogers JW. Daisy has had a moderate amount of success
in the show ring but it is with Michelle's new puppy Ladnar Memorabilla
that she is getting quite a name for herself. Poppy has so far been
placed at every Championship show and Open show attended her wins
include BPB Blackpool CH show, 3rd MPB NW&PB Ch show, her wins
at open shows include 3xBPIB, 2x BOB, PG1, PG2 and winning the AV
Cherryacre puppy stakes at Britannia leek. |

Ladnar Lock 'N Load DOB 09/11/05. We had
a real Lassie moment last May when the kids were sinking in the quick
sand. Brook alerted to their screams, ran to them returning back to
me on the bank, looking all agitated -back to the kids and back to
me for me to follow him. He kept looking back to make sure I was following.
The kids were in danger they were stuck so solid that one of their
wellingtons was broken trying to pull them out. Brook just loves the
kids and knew they were real screams for help! Ahhhh |
