We would like you to meet our Cheeky Chico,
Chico is a lovely pup from the moment he was born I couldn't take my eyes of him, he is a clown at times and so full of mischief just like his mom!!!, Chico has to date had an outstanding puppy career. Qualifying for Crufts 2007 at LKA his very first show at the tender age of just 6 months. He has won BPD at both Midland and British Collie Club Championship shows and a nice 2nd at Crufts, BPD at Lancs/Cheshire Collie Open show, BPD, BOSPIS at L&P Collie club Open Show not to mention 4 BPIB, 1BOB and a PG4 all before 9months. We feel Chico has a lot to offer our small select kennel his pedigree combines some of the top winning kennels in
the UK ,
Chico won Best Puppy Dog at Collie Association March Open show.
Chico continues to do very well for us with another nice Best Puppy in Breed at West of England Collie Society's Open show, shortly followed by BPD & RBD at Smooth Collie Open Show.

Chico's successful puppy career was bought to a fantastic conclusion by winning not only Best Puppy in Breed, Best of Breed, Group 1, and Puppy Group 1, but the icing on the cake Best Puppy in Show at Melton Mowbray All Breed Open Show.

Chico took time out to grow a new coat reappearing to win many of his classes along with BOB's and group placings, unfortunately Chico missed out on his JW by one point!!!!

After a short break Chico came out to play winning a very nice 2nd at Crufts 2008. Before he decided a change of coat was required, so during his rest at home he sired his first litter to Heidi. We wish the new owners of these promising puppies a successful show career and looking forward to seeing you and the puppies at the shows. We are pleased to announce our handsome Chico won his Limit Class at EACA Championship Show, so has now acquired his KC SBN. Many thanks to Mac Shutt.

Chico would like to congratulate two of his daughters on their successful wins at Midland Counties CH show Ladnar Hello Dolly at Didek on a lovely 2nd in MPB owned and showed by Diane & Derick Farthing at the same show litter sister, Ladnar Primrose Path to Bocasa with a lovely 3rd also in MPB owned and showed by Richard and Deborah Cross. These two lovely girls qualified for Crufts at their very first Championship show!!!!. Well done to you both.
27.01.09 was a day of mixed emotions for ourselves as we bid farewell to our lovely Chico now living in his new home in Australia. We would like to take this opportunity and say thank you to Barbara & Andy Wiseman of Derloch kennels and Tania & Simon Waixel of Ollerom Kennels for having faith in a Ladnar Collie. Wishing you all the very best for the future. xx

Well its 6 months now since the lovely Chico left our shores to join his new family's in sunny Australia. We are very pleased to inform everyone who has asked about Chico that he has settled in very well and made himself at home. On the show scene he has notched up 2 RBOB and caused quit a bit of interest. On the stud scene Chico has been a busy boy siring two healthy litters all with good eye results, litter one to the Derloch kennels and litter two to the Ollerom kennels. This is a very exciting achievement for us so we would like to share a selection of photos from both litters.
We would like to take this opportunity and wish Barbra and Tania all the very best with Chico babies.x

The lovely Mocca pictured at 3 years and looking a handsome young lad, he has had moderate success in the show ring to date and we eagerly await his first batch of puppies due May 2010.
