We come from a small mining village called "Silksworth" which is situated within "Sunderland" and that's in the "North East of England". I myself started with rough collies 38 years ago, buying my first rough collie in August 1970 being a tri- colour bitch from a lovely gentleman called Mr Greener who i named "Lassie". I bought Lassie just before marrying my husband Louie in Oct 1970. Didn't start in the showing side of things till 1988 when i bought two sable and white bitch puppies from Maud & Alan Mather of the famous "Rubec" kennel. I then went onto buy another sable bitch from Terry McGowan of the "Westoak" Kennel who i named "Ellie" she won well in the show ring gaining numerous 1sts, b.o.b's, BPIB's and also gaining her stud book number.

In amongst all of this my 3 children came along starting in 1972 when my son Paul was born then 1977 Joanne came along and then in 1983 Emma was born. As Joanne & Emma got older they started to get involved with the dogs along with myself and they still are to this day.

Two bitches 1 tri and 1 sable came from Jean and John Catliff "Mallicot" the sable named "Fizz" came to join us in 1994 then the tri named "Toni" came in 1997 then still purchasing more a dog called "Boots" came from my good friends Brenda & Tony Brown "Brentone" came in 1998 he did well for us in the show ring at the few shows he attended. Carrying on the buying process I bought a sable and white bitch called "Dizzy" from Tina & David Bray "Lorina" in 2001 she did really well for us in the show ring up until the point where she decided for some unknown reason she didn't like it anymore so rather than force her we retired her from showing.

Then in 2004 thanks to our good friend Caz Waterhouse we were able to introduce the "Lynmead" line into the "Corisian" family in the form of "Lynmead Simply Saucy For Corisian" "Molly" "1 C.C & 1 R.C.C" this sweet natured bitch who is mine & Emma's favourite is a joy to show and own. Finally came a sable bitch from Ireland namely "Caronlea Celtic Connection With Corisian" "Keevie" "JW, 1 C.C & 3 R.C.C's" she has won so well for us making us so very proud of her. She is such a character and my god is she a little "Show Off" in the show ring all the same a little sweetie.

Critique from Mr D McSeveney [Fortissat]

'Sparkling star of the show the ultimate in femininity with the sweetest of expressions that could melt the hardest of hearts. Head of lovely planes with well chiselled foreface and good underjaw. Ears always right on top of her head. Well arched neck and correct shoulders, good spring and depth of ribs with level topline. Profuse well groomed coat which completed the picture as she stood four square. Moved soundly front and rear. Delighted to award CC and BIS, will surely finish in the upper house before long'

" We are all so proud to announce that on the 14/6/09 at London Collie Club

Sable and white judged this young lady a couple of years ago and awarded her the RCC and she is maturing well, commanded attention when she walked into the ring, has equisite expression, well filled muzzle, correct stop and dark almond eye, flat skull and correct placement of ears used non stop, good neck and angulation to the shoulders, ribs well sprung, level topline with good bend of stifle, neat feet, at one with her handler, presented to perfection.CC'
